In 2014 we launched loop heat pipes mass production in response to the increasing demand for these unique devices. LHP significantly increase functional capabilities of cooling and thermal control systems in various technical fields.
LHP creation was a response to the aerospace industry demand for highly efficient, safe and compact thermal control systems, capable of working both on Earth and under 0-g conditions.
The aim was successfully achieved, and since that moment many Russian and foreign spacecraft with LHP-based thermal control systems have been conquering space for more than 25 years.

In 1972 Russian scientists Yu. F. Gerasimov and Yu. F. Maydanik were the first to create a heat-transfer device, later named a «loop heat pipe».
Thercon-LHP was founded by Yu. F. Maydanik and his colleagues from the Institute of Thermal Physics Ural Branch of RAS in 2004.
In 2014 with the support from Lider-Innovations venture fund Thercon-LHP launched loop heat pipes mass production.
Today we are expanding our production in order to meet the increasing customer needs.
In August 2015, Thercon-LHP became a Skolkovo Innovation Centre participant.
